I've killed so many of these particular droids in Dark Forces II that now looking back, it seems like hate crimes. Same with with the MSE-6. When me and my brothers found those on what I think is the second level we flipped out sayin' "why are their rc cars in a star wars game? Cool!", but after the new wore off, they were killed without a second thought also.
So I think these Droid Series' are justified. There extremely catchy too.
